heads up!

Just giving everyone a heads up that we're planning on using this blog as a place to post prayers, etc.  during the Mighty Men trip.  We want everyone to post what they're sensing in prayer, etc. for the next couple of weeks.  I THINK we're going to try to send an invitation to post here to all the people who have agreed to pray for the team.  We don't QUITE have that list together yet, but will, hopefully in the next 24 hours!  We really want this to be a sort of prayer journal that the boys (and the rest of the team) can read when they return!  It will be so encouraging!  Thanks to all of you who have been praying faithfully for our family, the MM, and the rest of the team!

This verse, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free!" I am praying that the boys will be TRUTHful during the next two weeks, and that God will show them the freedom that comes in living honestly. Don't know where that came from, but it's been on my heart the last few days.
I'm looking forward to hearing more! I love you all!

This is such an exciting thing that is happening with these boys. When I went to the pharmacy to get the malaria med for Dale the pharmacist asked when he was going over. I don't think she knew Dale and I told her. Going to Africa is not that exciting because so many people go. But when I told her what the trip was about and about Randy her eyes got bigger. She thought it was really cool. Later I called back to see if she had lids to pill bottles that she could donate and she said she did not have authority to do so but you could buy them. I went back to do that and when there she asked more about the trip. She gave me 200 and told me to take them. Maybe not a big deal because it was only going to be about thiry dollars but it was very appreciated. She told me to wish all of you well. The man at Cauble sports was so impressed with Randy that he made me cry. You just don't find very many people who are willing to let other people in as much as You and Randy have. YOu don't find many people who in a weeks time will say, "yes, I will go". Reminds me of that song from the Walk to Emmaus. Here I am Lord. The Lord is seen in all of this. From Randy going even after learning they were expecting number 7. So many might have said, "boys we will go next year. So many fathers say we will do it next week. Next week comes and they still don't spend any time together. From the school board letting them go,and Kindra putting aside her obligations to her husband and kids in a week and all of the other countless stories of the people who are going. Jobs are being put aside. Some may lose vacations. All because the Mighty Men are important and they deserve it. I pray they realize the blessing they are being given. I love you guys. I wish I were there to send everyone off because I so want to be a part of it. Cindy are you getting some of this on film. To the boys God says I know the plans I have for you. This is his plan. Not Randy's but His. Hold on to that. Dale don't forget your medicine. For some reason, I am worried you will be the one to forget. Josiah I hope you journal what you see and feel. Because I will want to read it. I love you guys so much. Love you and will be praying.
